Viran Panchal - Diagnosis and Technial Support
I decided to call Brooms for service since the previous owner installed this gas fireplace from Brooms. I have an issue where I’m getting a really cold back draft from under my fireplace so much that I’m getting condensation under the unit. I called Brooms and told the lady over the phone my issue and she said we don’t diagnose over the phone and advised me to make an appointment with their technician. The technician came within the time frame they gave me, he started with removing the bottom cover and right away was on a call with technical support to try and find a fix. The technician advised me to keep my pilot flame on to keep the area warm, so pretty much masking my issue. I was truly disappointed with the service with Brooms. So, I paid $130 for the technician to clean the glass window, replace the batteries in the receiver and talk to technical support and no fix. Today is -20 and the floor around fireplace is cold. I will have to call in another company to look at this issue.
